TURHAL
With a history dating back 5000 years to the Sumerians, Turhal is the second-largest district of Tokat province with a population of approximately 63,000. It is located on the highway connecting Tokat to Amasya, Samsun, Ankara, and Istanbul. Additionally, it is a station on the Samsun-Sivas railway route. The district is 30 km from Tokat Airport and 120 km from Amasya-Merzifon Airport. With these transportation facilities, Turhal is a charming district where access is extremely easy, and it holds significant value to our country with its Sugar Factory and Machinery Factory.
ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES
Turhal Higher Education Credit and Dormitories Institution provides services in our district with a capacity of 350 female and 274 male students, totaling 624 students. Additionally, there are many private student dormitories and boarding houses in our district.

Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program
Graduates of this program have many job opportunities. The primary job of Medical Documentation and Secretarial graduates, who are especially needed to improve the quality of services provided in the health sector, is to ensure the entry and exit processes of patients to hospitals or health institutions. Having an orderly and systematic filing system ensures that each patient is tracked more effectively in the long run. Medical Documentation and Secretarial graduates do not only handle the entry, exit, and document processing of patients. They also organize the entry and exit processes of the personnel working in the institution. Medical Documentation and Secretarial graduates, who can be considered for desk jobs, graduate with the competence to carry out document organization, preparation, and tracking processes, as well as archiving processes in health institutions. Graduates who do not directly communicate with patients and illnesses pay attention to effective patient tracking on paper and computers from behind the scenes. Graduates of the Medical Documentation and Secretarial program can find employment in both the private and public sectors.

Health Institutions Management Program
Graduates can work in all administrative units of a healthcare organization. They work in units such as human resources, procurement, accounting, patient-related units, quality, archive, etc., with the title of Health Institutions Manager. Health institutions managers can work in public, university foundation hospitals, private hospitals, rehabilitation centers, units related to health insurance of SGK, private insurance companies, and health research centers of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing organizations. The need for more efficient management of health institutions increases job opportunities for graduates of this field.
Medical Promotion and Marketing Program
The aim of the Medical Promotion and Marketing department is to train quality personnel with the basic professional knowledge and background needed by businesses operating in the pharmaceutical sector. Graduates of the program can work in businesses whose activities involve pharmaceuticals and medical fields with the title of Medical Sales Representative. Depending on their experience and success, pharmaceutical sales representatives can advance to administrative levels (regional manager, director, etc.) in the companies they work for. The education period is 2 years. It is an associate degree program. Graduates of the department receive the title of Medical Sales Representative. They are commonly known as Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives. During their education, students are provided with courses related to medical drugs in addition to some general courses. A graduate is equipped to know all the information about medical drugs. The task of Medical Promotion and Marketing graduates is to promote the specified drugs in the pharmaceutical company or institution they work for and market them to relevant places. Therefore, those who wish to choose this department should be successful in communication, have proper diction, high persuasion ability, and be well-groomed. The workplaces are generally pharmaceutical companies. However, it is also possible for them to work in government institutions.
